DC Subway

The DC subway is the most beautiful subway system I've ever seen. Admittedly, I haven't been to Moscow, where Jay claims the subway is more impressive. But you've got to admire the clean, simple, unified design aesthetic that runs throughout the DC stations. The exteriors of the stations along Rt. 66 in Virginia are particularly impressive in this regard, as are the cavernous interiors in DC. I would try and get some pictures of them, but, to be honest, I'm worried I would get arrested.
